Horizon Care SA supports and supervises participants with daily personal tasks to help them develop the skills needed to live as independently as possible.
Personal Activities of Daily Living are basic tasks required for self-care. These tasks are divided into several categories, including:
Daily Personal Activities :
- Dressing – Choosing appropriate clothing for the weather and different occasions.
- Mobility and Transferring – Moving in and out of bed, getting on or off the toilet, and general movement assistance.
- Continence Management – Using the toilet independently, maintaining hygiene, and safely getting up afterward.
- Transferring and Moving Around – Transitioning from sitting to standing, getting in and out of bed, and walking between locations.
- Eating – Feeding yourself or receiving assistance with meals when needed.
